Broken Roads
Life and Mind Quest Video
This Google Drive link has a video that demonstrates some of the choices and dialogue players can experience within the ‘Life and Mind’ quest. I wrote this quest solo with editorial assistance from our Narrative Director.
Character Document – Ben / Character Document – Katherine
These two character documents were created and shared amongst the team when designing the ‘Life and Mind’ quest. Reference images were supplied to guide the art team in their creation of portraits and character models.
Item Descriptions
The item descriptions for Broken Roads are references to Australian culture to immerse players in the game’s post-apocalyptic world. I also collaborated with the team’s Indigenous Consultant on any items related to Indigenous culture.
The Charnok Woman – Test Plan
This test plan is just one of the many test plans I wrote for our external QA team to guide their testing sessions. These test plans were formatted in a way to account for the branching paths of Broken Roads.
Espire 2
Mission Briefs – Videos and Scripts (Single-player)
This Google Drive link has folders storing recorded videos by ‘Kobalt Gaming’ of 4 Mission Briefs from the single-player campaign. Additionally, there are extracts from the script that you can read for more insight on how the Senior Narrative Designer and I managed the script and prepared it for other developers to use.
Enemy and Companion Barks
This Google Drive link sends you to a folder storing 2 spreadsheets that store all Enemy barks and Companion barks separately. For these barks, I performed research by watching Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 bark batches.
Mission Selection UI (Single-player and Multiplayer)
The Mission Selection screen for Espire 2 had snappy briefings meant to emulate an espionage mission. These Mission Briefings are divided by their appearance in the Single-player or Multiplayer campaigns.
